Captain Skink
Little is known for sure about the enigmatic Capt. Skink. He was known to reside in theFlorida swamps for years before signing his name to a Nassau-bound ship's charter.
Although there is suspicion that he was a high ranking colonial official, records are
spotty, and there is no record of a Governor Skink in any case. He eventually became a
captain has commanded countless crews in the defense of his native swampland. He is
known to his crew as a thoughtful employer and an intelligent seaman, but to most other
sailors he is simply known as a terrifying legend. Although there is no record of Skink's
men ever harming a captured vessel, one sight of his bearded and sneering visage is
enough to make any Royal Navy officer rethink the terms of his impressment. The motto
of the Skink crew is: "Dulce Et Decorum Est Pro Taking All Your Gold and Making You
Thank Us For It."
Captain Sparkle
Captain Sparkle was born on a ship to a seafaring family of pirates. Her first memory isof waking up in a treasure chest full of shiny booty. As soon as the little lass got her sea
legs, the pirates on the ship often noticed their treasure piles getting smaller while her
pockets grew fatter. Because of her love of all sparkly treasure, she quickly earned the
name Sparkle. When sheturned 13, the ship made port in the Caribbean and Sparkle
decided she could get a lot more treasure if she were a captain. She soon commandeered
a ship and turned some landlubbers into savvy pirates to be her crew. She has been sailing
the world ever since, plundering every place along the way. Captain Sparkle always
carries a bit of treasure with her wherever she goes, and even wears sparkles on her
face to live up to her name.
